Last updated: June 2026
1 — Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between the website dogcoolingmat.co.uk (hereafter "the Seller") and anyone making a purchase on the site (hereafter "the Customer"). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.
2 — Products
The products offered for sale are cooling mats for pets. Product photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible but cannot make the Seller liable for slight differences.
3 — Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP), inclusive of VAT where applicable. The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time, it being understood that the price shown at the time of the order is the only one applicable to the Customer. Delivery is free within the United Kingdom.
4 — Orders
The Customer places an order via the secure Stripe payment link. The order is confirmed by a confirmation email. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a payment problem or suspected fraud.
5 — Payment
Payment is made online by card via the secure Stripe platform. The amount is charged when the order is confirmed. The Customer's card details are neither stored nor accessible by the Seller.
6 — Delivery
Delivery is made within the United Kingdom, typically within a few working days. The Seller cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier or by force majeure. The Customer is notified by email when the order is dispatched, with a tracking number.
7 — Right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Customer has 30 days (more than the statutory 14 days) from receipt of the product to cancel, without giving a reason. The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused and in new condition. Return postage is the Customer's responsibility. The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
8 — Guarantee
All our products are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires goods to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is faulty, the Customer may request a replacement or a refund as provided for by law.
9 — Liability
The Seller cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper use of the product. Cooling mats are intended for use with pets and do not replace veterinary advice in the event of a health problem.
10 — Personal data
Personal data collected during the order is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and the UK GDPR.
11 — Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
